Do you know a young adult who might be interested in exploring spirituality while living in community in Vancouver? Then let them know about Hineni House, and invite them to a Taste of Hineni. This retreat for young adults (ages 18-30) is happening Saturday May 8 – Sunday May 9 and gives participants a chance to stay overnight at the house, get to know the Hineni leadership team, ask questions about the program, talk about spirituality and life in an intentional community, engage in group spiritual direction, and enjoy delicious meals. This weekend retreat is free of cost to the participants as it is a treat from the Hineni leadership team to those interested. Taste of Hineni online registration is open now until April 30th and the form can be found here.
In other words, Taste of Hineni is giving participants a “taste” of what our year-long program is like. The Hineni House year-long program is set to begin September 2016. It is a program designed for young adults (18-30 y/o) who want to experience, question, explore spirituality from their own perspective, understanding and background. Hineni is proud to be an open ministry and participants are not expected to be Anglican. During their time at the house (between 12-24 months depending on each individual) the young adults will get to experience life in community, while delving into questions and practices that will help them understand and deepen their spiritual life.
