Holy Saturday, April 4: 7:00 PM The Great Vigil of Easter

Easter Sunday, April 5: 10:00 AM, Holy Eucharist

Sunday, April 12: 10:00 am, Easter Festival of Readings and Music and Sunday School

Saturday, April 18th: Stewardship Day for Parish Development Location; Christ the Redeemer Church, 16613 Bell Road, Surrey, BC V3S 1H7    – 9 AM to 4 PM – registration required.

Saturday, April 25th:  The Education for Ministry (EFM) group of the diocese is presenting an EFM Day of Reflection. Join fellow EFMers, old and new, as Rabbi Dr. Laura Kaplan speaks about “a spiritual basis for interfaith understanding found in mysticism and depth psychology.”Things get underway at 9:30 am with refreshments and check-in, in advance of a lO am start. You are encouraged to bring a bag lunch and the program will conclude at 3 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend Dr. Kaplan’s morning presentation. A donation (to defray costs) of $20 is recommended at the door.

March:

Worship Committee Thursday, March 12th Meeting – 7:00 pm

Scrapbooking  Saturday, March 14th.    Scrapbooking at the home of Janet Pavlakovic

Worship Committee Thursday, March 26th, at 7:00 PM. Meeting to pick music

Spring Clean Up Day Saturday, March 28th,   9:00 am to 12 noon. Come out and help polish the pews, clean the Sacristy, clean parts of the kitchen, some outside work if you like, a variety of chores for young and senior. If you want to work outside please bring your own gloves. Lunch will be served (hot dogs, chips, pop), This is a fun parish community event and more hands make light work. Come and join us.

St. Stephen the Martyr is an intercultural congregation, with members representing several ethnic groups, races and cultures. The congregation gathers for worship at 10 am on Sundays and church festivals, to celebrate Holy Eucharist and engage in Christian formation.
