February at St Stephen

Bishop Melissa Skelton will visit St. Stephen’s Anglican Church for Sunday Service on February 15th at 10 AM. She will preside over a service of Confirmation. Pot luck luncheon will follow the service.

‘Celebrating our Diversity’ pot luck luncheon on Sunday, February 15 immediately following the Service . We are asking attendees to bring a finger food that is representative of their heritage.

Annual Vestry Meeting – February 22, commencing at 11:30 am in the Parish Hall. Parish Council members for the coming year will be elected. Those who have been in regular attendance at St. Stephen’s Church for 3 months and are on the parish list are eligible to vote.

‘Heart For Life’ Fund Raiser taking place throughout February (Heart Month). We are raising funds to purchase an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) for the church. We are selling raffle tickets for $20.00 each, maximum number to be sold will 50. Prize is a beautiful hand made quilt donated by Margaret and Gordon Taylor. Tickets on sale each Sunday through the month of February. Reverse draw will take place at the ‘Heart for life’ pot luck

‘Heart for Life’ Pot Luck – Saturday, February 28 starting at 6:00 pm. All are welcome! During this evening we will also be saying ‘thank you and goodbye’ to long time Parish Administrator Joan Seeton who retired at the end of 2014.
